HOW TO MAKE MOLE
Making mole does not have to be laborious work.
Use any of our mole starters and enjoy a delicious mole dinner in under 10 minutes.
INGREDIENTS:
16oz Guelaguetza's Mole Starter
15oz tomato sauce, unsalted
3 cups of broth (24 oz)
¼ teaspoon salt
1 Oaxacan chocolate disc (50g) (can substitute with 1 tbsp brown sugar)
DIRECTIONS:
Mix entire bag of mole starter with tomato sauce in a large saucepan. Stir and simmer under medium heat until starter is fully dissolved.
Add 3 cups of broth and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and season with salt and Oaxaca chocolate (or brown sugar substitute). Stir until chocolate or sugar has been thoroughly incorporated.
Serve warm
Makes 6 cups of mole sauce.
