        As immigrant kids, food was the one thing that always brought us joy, comfort and a sense of belonging.  Our family migrated to Los Angeles from Oaxaca in 1994.  That same year, our parents opened Guelaguetza Restaurant to bring Oaxaca flavors closer to their community. 

      Ever since then, our goal has been to showcase not only our family recipes, but also the hard work and dedication that goes into each of them.  Each year we travel to Oaxaca, hand pick our ingredients and carefully select the people we partner with. 

      Today, our mission is to continue our parents legacy by bringing those same Oaxaca flavors to your home, wherever that may be in the world
